f&P, dra, edl, Foundations and tasks

The elementary literacy reports are grouped into 2 areas:  District and School dashboards that report data at the district, network, and school level, but can also be disaggregated by teacher and Teacher and Classroom dashboards that are designed to be easily and quickly useful to teachers with class roster and student level reports.

District and School Dashboards

F&P, DRA and EDL

Description: The main F&P, DRA and EDL board is the first stop for viewing performance and participation rates by school, network, grade, and student group. Authorized users can view data by teacher and can drill down to the student level. This dashboard consolidates English and Spanish to give an overall reading proficiency and participation rate.

Description: For schools that test in both languages, this F&P, DRA and EDL dashboard shows English and Spanish results separately, side by side.

FOUNDATIONS & SIGHT WORDS MASTERY

Description: See Grade K students’ progress towards mastery of early literacy skills. View the percent of students who have mastered foundational skills, tasks and sight words by district, school, network, student group or classroom.  ​

Description: What percent of students are at, above, approaching  and below benchmark in each of the foundational literacy skills and sight words?  View results by network, school, student group and teacher.

FOLLOW UP TESTING PARTICIPATION

Description: This dashboard visualizes the extent to which teachers are conducting follow-up testing for students as follows: 1) Foundational skills, tasks and/or sight words for students in grades K-5 who are reading below an F&P instructional F or DRA 10 and 2) a Reading Record for students who are multiple years below grade on the SRI, or who score below 5 on the listening or reading sections of Avant.

Use this dashboard to see what percent of students have and have not received follow-up testing. Authorized users can click the bar graphs to get student lists.

Description: Create a display of the students in your class color coded by their reading level to quickly see the distribution of readers in your classroom.

DATA WALL: F&P, SRI, IAB, SBAC, DRA AND EDL

Description: This class roster report gives Grade K-5 teachers access to all the main elementary literacy assessments. Customize to create the list you want by adding or removing assessments, administrations, and academic years. For example, you can create a report with 2 years of F&P, or view the most recent F&P, SRI and IAB.

Description: Class roster report for the Foundations, Tasks, and Sight Words assessments for Grades K-2. Customize to create the list you want by adding or removing skills; for example, add more advanced sight words or create a report with just letter naming skills.

QUICK LIST: STUDENTs Reading Below F / 10

Description: When elementary students are reading at or below an F&P instructional F or DRA instructional 10, teachers should follow up by testing students’ foundational literacy skills and/or sight words. This dashboard gives teachers a quick list of students who need follow-up testing after the F&P or DRA by showing which students have and have not received follow up testing.

QUICK LIST: GR 3-5 STUDENTs below on sri

Description: When students in Grades 3-5 are multiple years below on the SRI or lower than 5 on the reading or listening portions of the Avant, teachers should administer a Reading Record.  This dashboard gives teachers a quick list of students who need a follow-up Reading Record after the SRI/Avant by showing which students have and have not received follow up testing.

cLASS gRID: fOUNDATIONAL SKILLS AND SIGHT WORDS

Description: Allows teachers to view the most current correct and incorrect results for their entire class on each foundational skills and sight word assessment item. Teachers can quickly scan to see which items their students still need to master.

Class Profile

Description: Teacher can view the total number of students who have mastered, or who have yet to master, each letter name, sound, sight word and blend/segment skill. Click on the bar graph to generate a quick list of students who need more instruction or re-test.

Description: Allows teachers to see an individual student’s results and progress on the foundational skills and sight word assessments. Teachers can see which items the student got correct and incorrect for each attempt, as well as which letters, letter sounds and sight words the student still needs to master

Student Groups: fOUNDATIONAL sKILLS & sIght wORDS

Description: ​Which students in your class still need to work on the letter "p"? Which need to practice the sight word "the"? This dashboard helps teachers generate a list of students who still need instruction or re-testing in a particular skill such as letter name, letter sounds, or sight words. ​
