Additional Data Resources
AERIES
Aeries is OUSD's current student information system provider. Training and support materials are available HERE. For any additional information, please contact Information Technology Services. Log in is required. |
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
Demographic and Performance Data on California's schools and districts can be found on the California Department of Education Dataquest website. Please note that some OUSD district level may include charter school information. |
CALIFORNIA FINANCIAL AID TRACKER
This site tracks college financial aid application rates for California schools and districts. It reports the percentage of 12th graders who completed FAFSA and Cal Grant applications. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, is the application needed to be considered for financial aid such as grants, work-study jobs, and student loans. California's Cal Grant program is the largest state-funded financial aid program in the U.S. It provides guaranteed awards to high school graduates with at least a 2.0 GPA, who apply by the March 2 deadline, and who meet other eligibility requirements, including financial need. |
FISCAL TRANSPARENCY
With several dozen schools and over $600 million in expenditures, OUSD's finances can be complex. Improving Financial Transparency and Understanding is an important piece of the District's efforts inform and engage stakeholders to ensure all students thrive. Please take advantage of the resources here and then complete our survey to help us improve further. |
SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT MANAGER (SAM)
The Scholastic Achievement Manger (SAM) is OUSD's online management tool for the Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI). You can access SAM through OUSD's intranet page. Data and reports are available at the individual, school, and district level. For more information, please contact Cecilia Larkin at [email protected]. |
SINGLE PLAN FOR STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT (SPSA)
The Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) is created by a school team that includes the principal, teachers, parents, community partners, and, at high schools, students. The SPSA is a tool for sites to prioritize particular programs and strategies that will best serve their students, families, and the community. The plan also includes key information about the school site budget and the ways in which the school is meeting OUSD's Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) goals. For more information, please contact Diana Sherman at [email protected]. |
