Public Dashboard FAQs
(AGGREGATE LEVEL DATA FOR PUBLIC USE)
Q: WHAT DATA ARE AVAILABLE IN DASHBOARD FORM?
Most of the public PDF annual data reports that OUSD's Research, Assessment & Data (RAD) has produced for prior years students and schools are now available in dashboard format. Click HERE for a complete list of publicly available dashboards. More dashboards will be added in the future.
Q: WHO WILL HAVE ACCESS TO DASHBOARDS?
Our public dashboards can be accessed by anyone.
Q: WHAT LEVEL OF DATA IS IN THE DASHBOARDS?
You can view data at the summary level for the district, school, grade levels, or groups of students (by race/ethnicity, gender, English Fluency, foster youth, students with disabilities, etc.). When there is a total of 10 or fewer students in a particular student group, no summary data is provided in order to protect student confidentiality.
Q: HOW CAN I LEARN HOW TO USE THE DASHBOARDS?
Click HERE to view or download a step-by-step “cheat sheet.” We are also working on video instructions and will post them online when they are finished.
Q. HOW CAN I GIVE FEEDBACK? WHAT IF I HAVE QUESTIONS?
Our team is committed to incorporating your feedback into the design of interactive dashboards. Use our Feedback Form to provide specific feedback about a dashboard or email the author of the dashboard - contact information is provided at the bottom of each dashboard.
