For use by the public and OUSD staff: The Hiring Season Summary is a tool for reflection about OUSD's hiring of certificated staff for the 2017-18 school year. It includes information on vacancies and the characteristics of our newly hired teachers and school leaders.

Updated CELDT Dashboard Now Available!

For OUSD staff: Updated CELDT scores are now available in the CELDT Performance Dashboard and the CELDT Requirement Dashboard. 2017-18 will be the last year of CELDT testing as students transition into the English Language Proficiency Assessment of California (ELPAC). Only students who met the Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI) criteria for reclassification and did not meet the CELDT criteria for reclassification in 2016-17 were eligible for the CELDT retest in 2017-18.

SUSPENSION DASHBOARD ENHANCEMENTS!

For OUSD Staff: The Out of School Suspension Incidents dashboard tallies out-of-school suspensions for any offense, regardless of whether a classic "suspendable offense" (code 01 to 26) was cited. The dashboard is now enhanced so that, in the sample image above, a tally of suspensions for "Disrespect" (code 39) can be seen together with the tally of suspensions for "Defiance" (code 06). No longer are codes 27 - 87 tallied simply as "Not Classified" offenses.
